The House of Almary
Where solid timber meets lasting legacy.
Solid timber furniture, thoughtfully handcrafted for modern Malaysian homes.
Our Story
A new name, quietly built on thirty years of practice.
Almary was established in 2025 — but our roots reach back to 1990.
What began as a small family workshop in Malaysia has grown, slowly and deliberately, into a respected atelier in Bukit Rahman Putra, Sungai Buloh, Selangor. Three decades of patient making, one piece at a time.
We work only in solid timber — oak, walnut, ash — chosen for how it feels underhand and how it will look thirty years from now. No veneers over lesser cores. No shortcuts in the finish. Only the mid-to-high end of craftsmanship, offered without ceremony.

Our Philosophy
Scandinavian simplicity, tempered by Malaysian life.
We believe good furniture should feel calm in a room — never loud, never fussy. Clean lines, honest joinery, warm materials that soften with age.
Our designs draw on Scandinavian restraint, then adapt to the realities of living here: tropical humidity, open-plan homes, and the quiet rituals of Malaysian family life.
Solid timber only · Handcrafted with care · Malaysian-owned · Built for generations
Our Values
Four quiet commitments, kept in every piece.
01
Solid Timber Only
Oak, walnut and ash — carefully selected, honestly used. Never veneers laid over lesser cores.
02
Handcrafted with Care
Every joint, edge and finish is considered by hand. Time, not haste, is the measure of quality.
03
Malaysian Heart, Modern Soul
Scandinavian restraint, shaped for tropical light, Malaysian rooms and the way we actually live.
04
Built for Generations
Pieces designed to age gracefully — to be used, loved, and eventually passed down.
The Atelier
A quiet house of making in Bukit Rahman Putra.
Our atelier sits in Bukit Rahman Putra, Sungai Buloh — a calm, light-filled space where raw timber slowly becomes cabinets, dining tables and sideboards.
It is a place shaped by care rather than volume. Fewer pieces, greater attention, and the belief that furniture worth owning is worth taking time to make well.
